April is Stress Awareness Month

Stress is something many of us experience, but too much stress can affect both our mental and physical health.
Common signs of stress can include:
• Feeling overwhelmed or anxious.
• Difficulty sleeping.
• Trouble concentrating.
• Feeling irritable or low.
We recommend some simple ways to help manage stress:
• Try to stay active and get regular exercise.
• Take time to relax and do things you enjoy.
• Talk to someone you trust about how you’re feeling.
• Make time for rest and good sleep.
If stress is affecting your daily life, support is available. You can speak to a healthcare professional or find helpful advice here: https://www.nhs.uk/every…/mental-health-issues/stress/
NHS Talking Therapies can also help you with stress, anxiety and low mood, and you can even self-refer online without seeing a GP first, head over to: https://www.nhs.uk/tests-and-treatments/talking-therapies/
Looking after your wellbeing is just as important as looking after your physical health. 💚
