What is the Patient Participation Group (PPG)?
Our patient group consists of members of the Audley community dedicated to improving our patient care.
The group meets regularly at the health centre for discussions and often has meetings with practice staff to see where we can improve.
Why should I join?
You have been to the surgery as a patient, parent, carer, or friend. Your experiences matter and you can bring different ideas to the surgery to help us treat patients better or to improve what we do in some way. You will also gain a better understanding of the NHS and gather feedback from other patients. We are particularly keen to have representation from younger patients and patients who may have different experiences to many of our patients and can represent and voice the needs of minority groups. If you are thinking of taking up a career in healthcare this could be a great opportunity to get involved. If you have young children, you may have slightly different needs and views on healthcare, and we’d love to have your input. We normally meet for an hour each month to discuss what is going on at the surgery and how we can support them in making sure patients receive the best care possible. We are a friendly bunch, and everybody is welcome.
If you are interested in joining our patient group, please fill in the form and we will forward your details on to our PPG Members.
