January 2024 – It’s Cervical Screening Awareness Month

Here at Audley Health Centre we regularly engage with awareness days and campaigns throughout the year to encourage good health promotion among our patients.

This month is Cervical Cancer Awareness, a month dedicated to raising awareness and education around this disease and reminding ladies to book their smear tests.

• 2 Women lose their lives to the disease every day

• 9 women are diagnosed with cervical cancer every day

• 75% of cervical cancers can be prevented by cervical screening (smear tests)

We invite women from the age of 25 for this test to help prevent Cancer.

Test overdue, book it in this week by contacting the surgery!
