If you experience an eye injury or a sudden eye condition and aren’t sure where to get help, it’s important to act quickly. Prompt attention can prevent serious complications and protect your vision.
💡 What to do:
• Contact NHS 111 for guidance if you need urgent treatment.

⚠️ When to seek urgent care:
• Sudden loss of vision or blurred vision
• Severe eye pain or injury
• Eye infection with swelling, redness, or discharge
• Foreign object in the eye that won’t come out.
Remember, don’t wait, getting help early can make a huge difference. NHS 111 will advise you on the safest and quickest route to care, whether that’s an eye clinic, your GP, or the hospital.
