Travel Vaccinations – Stay Safe & Healthy Abroad
If you are travelling abroad you may need to be vaccinated, please ask for a form from our reception team or you can complete the form on our website using the link on this post.
Our practice nurse will them review the form and contact you by telephone or a text message to ask you to make an appointment.
It is important to make this initial appointment at least eight weeks before you travel so that the vaccines can be ordered. You will need a second appointment to receive the vaccinations. Your second appointment should be at least two weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
NB: Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription which cost more than the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
