Did not attend figures February 2026

Thank You for Attending Your Appointments!
In February, hundreds of patients attended their appointments at Audley Health Centre—thank you! By showing up or letting us know in advance if you couldn’t attend, you helped others receive timely care. Every kept or cancelled appointment makes a real difference.
Unfortunately, we also recorded some Did Not Attend (DNA) appointments. Each missed slot represents valuable care time that could have gone to another patient in need.
Why It Matters
When appointments are missed without notice:
❌ Another patient misses the chance to be seen
❌ NHS resources are wasted
❌ Delays in care increase for everyone
✅ Good news: Most patients already do the right thing! Let’s keep building on that together.
Booking, Cancelling, and Rescheduling Is Easy
From now on, you’ll receive:
✅ A confirmation text when you book via the pre-bookable link
✅ A reminder the day before your appointment
(The message sent 3 days before has been removed.)
You don’t even need to call—simply use one of these quick options:
✅ NHS App or Patient Access
✅ The link in your reminder text
✅ Email: audleyadmin@staffs.nhs.uk
💙 Use the NHS App for secure messages and notifications:
With notifications on, you’ll never miss:
✔️ Appointment updates
✔️ Test results
✔️ Health advice from your GP
💡 Need help setting up the NHS App?

🌟 Let’s Make 2026 Even Better
Our DNA figures remained steady this month. Together, we can aim to lower missed appointments, improve communication, and ensure better access to care in 2026.
By continuing to attend, cancel, or reschedule appointments in good time, we can reduce missed appointments even further and ensure every appointment counts so more patients receive care when they need it.
Thank you for doing your part.
