Would You Recommend Us To Your Friends And Family?

The NHS friends and family test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the services that provide your care and treatment. Your feedback will help NHS England to improve services for everyone.
It was introduced in 2013 and asks patients whether they would recommend hospital wards, A&E departments and maternity services to their friends and family if they needed similar care or treatment. This means every patient in these wards and departments is able to give quick feedback on the quality of the care they receive, giving hospitals a better understanding of the needs of their patients and enabling improvements.
The FFT became available in GP practices on December 1 2014 and then expanded to mental health services and community services on January 1 2015. Other services will offer the friends and family test from April 2015 such as NHS dental practices, ambulance services, patient transport services, acute hospitals outpatients and day cases. The aim is for FFT to become available to everyone using any NHS services.

What Our Patients Say

We have been with them since 1986 and don’t feel the need to change. They are brilliant.

Last Friday both my husband I needed to make emergency appointments – between our first call to the surgery at 8.10am and 1pm we had both been seen by doctors and had our separate conditions taken very seriously and examined thoroughly ; both of us had been referred for blood tests and had blood taken (the service at Bradwell is brilliant) and my husband had had a chest xray (the walk in centre was also excellent) and had returned home. A thoroughly efficient experience especially when there are so much negative media on the availability and service offered by GPs.

The Doctor I see is well informed on my particular complaints and is always prepared to discuss different types of medication with me to help me. I have never failed to see the Doctor of my choice but am quite happy to see any of the doctors here as I feel there is a good cross over of patients. The nursing staff here are second to none and offer a large selection of out patient clinics. I have always had a good rapport with the receptionists who always go out of the way to accommodate everybody.

The doctors & nurses seem to work well together and are sympathetic to your needs

Over the years lived in many towns and have had a lot of Dr’s. I have to say never have I come across a surgery where everyone is helpful, from the reception, the nurses and doctors. It is such a cheery waiting room, i’m sure that is where the healing begins. Keep up the good work and thank for saving my life.

The nurse is an extremely helpful compassionate and caring person. My daughter is usually petrified of needles. This nurse has over come her fears today after years. Nothing is ever too much trouble. This nurse is an absolute credit to Dr Pages surgery. I can’t thank her enough.

At a time when the media are demonizing the NHS here is proof that things can splendidly & that most of the staff truly care.
