About our Practice

The current partnership came together in April 1998, following the retirement of Dr. Suxena. In addition to the Partners, Dr. Page, Dr. Turner, Dr. Hall, Dr. Sutton and Dr. Sweet, we have another additional fully qualified GP, Dr. Abgail Nguyen.

After many years of trying to improve the practice services & facilities, we managed to secure a new building through the NHS LIFT scheme. The new Health Centre has now been built on Church Street, opening the doors to our patients on 26th March 2007. From here we aim to deliver the highest quality Primary Health Care for our patients.

We provide training for all levels of students & doctors, from 3rd year undergraduate to Registrar, including being involved with training both F2 and ST2 level SHO´s in General Practice.

The Audley Patient Panel

The Audley Patient Panel are a group of patients working with the practice to:

  • contribute to the continuous improvement of service;
  • foster improved communication between the practice and its patients;
  • help patients to take more responsibility for their health; and
  • provide practical support and help to implement change.

NHS Summary Care Record

The NHS in England is introducing the Summary Care Record, which will be used in emergency care. The record will contain information about any medicines you are taking, allergies you suffer from and any bad reactions to medicines you have had to ensure those caring for you have enough information to treat you safely.

Your summary care record will be available to authorised healthcare staff providing your care anywhere in England, but they will ask your permission before they look at it. This means that if you have an accident or become ill, the doctors treating you will have immediate access to important information about your health.

The Audley practice is supporting Summary Care Records and will start to create records from March.

As a patient you can choose not to have a Summary Care Record by completing an opt out form available from the Health Centre Reception.

How information about you helps us to provide better care:

Extracting coded patient data from patient records. Information about you and the care you receive is shared, in a secure system, by healthcare staff to support your treatment and care. You have a choice. If you are happy for us to this you do not need to do anything, if you have any concerns please ask a member of staff or for more information please go to www.nhs.uk/caredata or download the following:
